Doing nails brings me joy. As both a creative outlet and a career path, I want to make the beauty industry richer with what I have to offer. 

I have always loved art in many different forms, and nails can be art just like painting and music. They are jewels, and should be treated as such.

I am a beauty school student. I started this program with no knowledge of application beyond every-day polish, not knowing why my nails barely lasted the day, and believing that maybe I couldn't follow through the way I wanted. Through my classmates and personal relationships, this experience has improved my life in ways I would not have figured. Seeing day-to-day progress and getting encouragement from peers goes such a long way in self-confidence and image, and I owe them so much.

Years from now I hope to still be improving on my skills, honing my talents, and maybe teaching others how to do so as well. This is a turning point for me, and I can't wait to see what the future holds.
